The Lead Product Designer will tackle complex design challenges, define product visions, enhance design systems, and collaborate across teams at Monzo. They are expected to lead projects, mentor team members, and improve customer-centric solutions using innovative design methodologies.

Lead a new Spanish-speaking EU fraud investigations team (10–12 investigators). Manage coaching, performance, hiring, quality checks, process improvements, and employee relations while partnering with senior ops to scale the team.

Lead technical ML efforts to detect and prevent financial crime by designing, developing and shipping production deep learning, graph and sequence models. Provide IC technical leadership, mentor peers, work with product, engineering and MLOps to iterate models on a cloud-native platform, and measure production impact while minimising false positives and operational costs.

Lead ML strategy and delivery for Workforce Management: forecasting, routing, assignment, escalation and time-to-completion prediction. Build, ship and maintain production ML systems, coach and grow a team of ML scientists, work cross-functionally to turn operational problems into pragmatic ML solutions, and improve customer and operational outcomes.

The Team Manager for Financial Crime will lead a group of Financial Crime Investigators, focusing on anti-money laundering tasks and team development while ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
