Teams at Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

Provide expert policy advice and representation for Scotland and Northern Ireland on data protection matters. Engage stakeholders, influence government and parliament, draft guidance and consultation responses, horizon-scan legislation, support cross-UK projects, deputise for managers, mentor staff, and contribute to strategic planning and research.

Provide timely, risk-based legal advice on data protection, FOIA, PECR and NIS matters; manage caseloads; ensure legally accurate ICO guidance; represent ICO externally; supervise and develop legal staff; liaise with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
