Leads public-sector sales strategy, revenue growth, market expansion, and go-to-market execution across North America. Manages and coaches the public-sector sales team, builds relationships with government decision-makers, agencies, prime contractors, and partners, and closes high-value consultative deals. Represents the company at industry events and coordinates sales efforts in a matrixed environment.

Partner with customer IT teams on infrastructure, security, and data requirements; design compliant deployment strategies; troubleshoot technical issues; and deliver reliable rollouts. The role requires production Kubernetes and Helm expertise, cloud infrastructure knowledge, DevOps and CI/CD experience, customer-facing skills, French fluency, and travel of up to 20–40%.

Design, build, and deploy reliable LLM-powered agents and agentic workflows for enterprise customers. Translate ambiguous business problems into measurable AI solutions, integrate agents with tools, APIs, and sensitive data, and ship features for Cohere’s North platform. Develop evaluation frameworks for accuracy, safety, and latency; contribute to shared AI engineering standards; collaborate with customer engineering teams; and travel 20–40% for on-site customer and partner work.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will build features for an AI platform, develop integrating solutions, lead deployments, and engage with customers.

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will contribute to building features for user-facing products, APIs, and scalable services for machine learning. Responsibilities include crafting code, designing data pipelines, implementing tools, and enhancing technical documentation.

Build and maintain integrations for North's agentic platform, own the end-to-end integration pipeline, create evals and tests to ensure reliability, tune tool descriptions, and help other engineers add and maintain integrations while using AI responsibly to improve performance and quality.

Identify, qualify, and nurture enterprise leads for Cohere's AI solutions through outbound outreach, BANT qualification, Salesforce pipeline management, and collaboration with marketing. Run smaller sales cycles to close opportunities and stay current on industry and product trends.
