Manage probate cases from start to finish using a case management system and AI tools, while ensuring client satisfaction and team collaboration.

Manage and develop a team of senior and lead probate case managers, ensure high-quality legal advice and case progression, provide technical audit support, champion client service, and drive continuous improvement.

Lead corporate acquisition strategy for high-value, multi-site accounts. Build prospect pipelines, win new business, manage complex negotiations, develop profitable business cases, lead bids and tenders, and support contract finalization and customer onboarding. Build senior client relationships, coordinate partner integration, and represent Co-op Wholesale in the corporate retail market.

Arrange and coordinate funerals across multiple funeral homes, supporting families in person and by phone. Maintain welcoming, safe branches; manage documentation, invoicing, and client records; and follow regulatory procedures. Duties also include transporting and preparing deceased individuals, moving coffins, and assisting with family viewings. The role requires empathy, discretion, accurate administration, independent working, technology skills, and a full UK driving licence.

Own the end-to-end drafting, negotiation, amendment, signature, storage, and administration of business customer sales contracts. Advise sales, finance, legal, propositions, and operations teams; ensure contracts reflect approved commercial positions; identify and resolve risks, disputes, and compliance issues; and improve contract templates, terms, processes, and governance standards.

Own and develop the organisation’s range optimisation strategy, including range guardrails, store clustering, and range review processes. Lead and develop the Range Optimisation team, collaborate with customer and commercial stakeholders, and translate category strategies into optimised assortments. Use data, insights, tools, and systems to improve product ranges across stores, while supporting tests, trials, and change initiatives that deliver strong customer, commercial, and operational outcomes.

Provide consultative sales support for estate planning and later-life legal services through phone, video, and occasional face-to-face appointments. Identify client needs, explain options clearly, guide funeral-plan decisions in line with FCA regulations, achieve targets, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver positive client outcomes.
