Placement-year intern supporting the Third Party Risk Management team within Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Responsibilities include data collection and analysis, regulatory reporting, documentation, operational tasks, system testing, process improvements, automation, and AI initiatives. The intern will maintain risk information and procedures, support internal projects, and develop knowledge of GRC concepts, financial markets, and third-party risk management.

Prepares journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reports, and financial statements for EMEA and APAC entities. Supports month-end and quarter-end close, statutory audits, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Identifies process improvements, validates financial data, and contributes to accurate management reporting and disclosure quality.

Monitor clearing systems and event-contract risk during weekend shifts. Support clearing members and customers, troubleshoot customer-impacting issues with technology teams, escalate incidents, improve operational risk practices, contribute to governance documentation, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external market participants on new clearing initiatives.
