Chainguard seeks an Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales, manage key accounts, and exceed quotas while building customer relationships.

Lead design and implementation of the Libraries Platform: services, pipelines, package index, automation for builds, CVE remediation, SBOM/provenance, AI-assisted patching, and reliability/observability for multi-ecosystem package workflows.

The role involves prospecting potential clients, qualifying leads, setting appointments for sales, and maintaining records in the CRM system to drive revenue growth in the cybersecurity sector.

Manage post-sales relationships for EMEA customers: lead onboarding, implementation, adoption, and value realization. Advocate customer needs internally, coordinate issue resolution with support and engineering, deliver training and product expertise, and partner with sales to drive renewals and expansions while minimizing churn.

Lead and build Chainguard's People function across EMEA: partner with regional leaders on performance, org and talent decisions; own end-to-end employee relations and investigations; run performance cycles; advise on country-specific employment requirements; stand up local-market infrastructure; use people analytics to guide decisions; coordinate with People Ops, Compensation, L&D, Legal, and EOR partners.

Serve as primary commercial legal partner for EMEA Go-To-Market, drafting and negotiating SaaS, enterprise, services, NDA, partner agreements; ensure open source licensing, DORA and GDPR compliance; negotiate with regulated customers; create standard form agreements and online terms; manage ~4 new deals weekly; partner with Product, Security, and Sales to align legal and business objectives.

Lead architecture and implementation of Chainguard Repository services: build and operate high-availability backend systems in Go, design package registries and APIs, drive scalability, reliability, observability, and mentor engineers while partnering across teams to expand artifact support.

Own and drive architecture for a major backend domain in Chainguard's clearing house. Build production-ready Go services on GCP with Terraform, design data pipelines to ingest and deduplicate unstructured vulnerability reports, establish engineering best practices, and collaborate on interfaces, observability, and roadmap planning.

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Developer Platform team, you will enhance CI/CD pipelines, improve developer experience, and productionize AI tooling while mentoring teammates and collaborating with engineering leaders.
