Lead procurement management for energy-transition clients, including transmission and distribution network operators and renewable-energy developers. Develop sourcing strategies and manage full tender processes to appoint design consultants and contractors for large-scale capital programs. The role requires extensive public-sector procurement experience in highly regulated environments, strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts, and ideally experience in electrical transmission, distribution, or wind-energy sectors.

Lead delivery of technical safety and PRAM consultancy for clients, providing risk assessments, safety case development, and compliance guidance. Lead projects, mentor junior staff, and engage with clients and stakeholders to implement safety solutions aligned with industry standards.

Lead design and delivery of HV/EHV substations (11kV–400kV) for transmission, distribution and renewables. Client liaison, produce primary substation design deliverables, coordinate multidiscipline teams, apply National Grid/DNO/IEC standards, prepare equipment specifications, manage H&S and CDM design duties, support bids and project delivery to budget, time and quality.
