Manage payroll implementations for schools and Multi-Academy Trusts, including parallel payroll runs, detailed YTD reconciliations, data validation, system audits, compliance checks, and discrepancy resolution. The role ensures accurate payroll builds, adherence to UK payroll and pension legislation, and effective operational handover. Responsibilities also include maintaining system frameworks, preparing reconciliation documentation and payroll journals, supporting stakeholders, and following UK GDPR and information security protocols.

Lead Arbor’s centralized product design function, setting design strategy, standards, systems, and ways of working across its B2B SaaS product portfolio. Manage and mentor designers, integrate design practices across acquired products, advocate for design at leadership level, and drive usability through research and testing. Partner with product and engineering leaders on product strategy, UX/UI improvements, design systems, and AI-augmented workflows.

Improve the resilience, performance, scalability, and maturity of Arbor’s platform infrastructure. Responsibilities include enhancing high availability, testing, disaster recovery, CI/CD pipelines, deployment patterns, incident response, post-mortems, documentation, and knowledge sharing. The role works closely with platform, SRE, architecture, and engineering teams while operating large-scale AWS cloud systems and infrastructure as code.
