Dynatrace is hiring for a experienced Labour Relations & Works Council Lead in Spain.
The successful candidate will be the central contact person for the Spanish Works Council and French Works Council as P&C Representative both internally and externally. You will partner closely with People&Culture Business Partners, People Operations, Leaders, and Counsels to bring resolution to a broad spectrum of employee relations issues and projects.
This role is available as Remote or Hybrid (Barcelona) - if you are located outside of Barcelona, we would expect some travel to our Barcelona office.
  • Act as the central point of contact for the Spanish Works Council. Foster a good relationship with the Works Council.
  • Build a strategy, structure and process of working with a newly established Works Council in Spain.
  • Lead all negotiations with the Spanish Works Council.
  • Work with unions in Spain.
  • Act as the central point of contact for the French Works Council.
  • Steer the election support tasks for Works Council elections.
  • Help with the strategy to decide what business and P&C will bring to the Works Councils.
  • Act the central contact person for SMEs and business to train and prepare topics for the Works Councils.
  • Interpret, communicate, and maintain ER&Comp policies, processes, and programs.
  • Track and report ER&Comp activities and develop recommendations to remediate risk within the business.
  • Build strong partnerships to foster trust and accountability with all stakeholders.
  • Advise and calculate separation packages, settlements, and accommodation matters for involuntary terminations, job eliminations, leaves, and disability.
  • Advise People BP and Ops on terminations.
  • Interpret and apply understanding of company policies and practices, local legislative requirements, and other regulations to provide guidance or clarification on employee relations and employee compliance matters.

What will help you succeed
  • Demonstratable experience in working with Spanish Works Councils.
  • English business fluent.
  • Spanish business fluent.
  • French good knowledge (desirable)
  • Experience in working with French Works Councils (desirable).
  • Sound knowledge of regional employment legislative requirements and regulations and their pragmatic application.
  • Positive role model and strong work ethic. Commitment to the highest standards of excellence and integrity.
  • Excellent consultative, coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Able to independently juggle multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Able to judge and uphold the decision towards Business and P&C (senior leaders).
