Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement complex workload automation solutions using Control-M and/or Automic WLA.
- Create and maintain job scheduling definitions, dependencies, and calendars.
- Monitor and manage automated workflows to ensure reliability and performance.
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., shell, Python, PowerShell) for automating tasks and processes.
- Integrate workload automation tools with various applications and databases.
- Collaborate with application teams to gather requirements for automation needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to job executions and scheduling.
- Develop and maintain documentation for workflows and automation processes.
- Evaluate and recommend new workload automation tools and technologies.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing automation frameworks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in workload automation and job scheduling tools such as Control-M, AutoSys, Automic, or similar.
- Strong scripting skills (shell, Python, PowerShell, etc.).
- Experience with database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Postgre).
- Experience with operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
