Main purpose of the role & responsibilities in the business:
As a PTA Reporting & PRISM Product Consultant at Kainos, you will play a critical role in shaping and enhancing our Pay Transparency Analyzer (PTA) product, developed in partnership with Workday. You’ll use your Workday Reporting and Prism expertise to design, configure, and optimise data and reporting solutions that power PTA’s ability to deliver pay equity insights, detect disparities, and support compliance with global regulations.
This is a hands-on role within the product development team, suited to consultants who enjoy working on productised SaaS solutions rather than direct customer implementations. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Workday SMEs to turn requirements into scalable, high-quality reporting and analytics features, ensuring our clients continue to gain value from their product investment.
You’ll also help set standards, improve processes, and mentor junior colleagues as we continue to scale this strategically important product.
Key Responsibilities
Work with Product Managers and Engineers to gather, refine, and fulfil PTA reporting and Prism requirements.
Design, configure, and maintain advanced Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and Prism datasets to enable pay transparency calculations and insights.
Optimise performance and ensure scalability of reporting components embedded within the PTA product.
Translate product requirements and compliance use cases into technical reporting and Prism solutions.
Contribute to roadmap planning by advising on reporting/analytics feasibility, risks, and best practices.
Support internal testing, validation, and QA of PTA reporting features prior to release.
Document reporting standards, reusable assets, and best practices for consistency across the product.
Mentor and support junior product consultants within the team.
What we are looking for:
Workday Reporting & Prism certifications.
Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience with Workday Reporting & Prism.
Strong understanding of how reporting and analytics support HR processes, ideally including compliance or pay equity.
Proven ability to design and optimise complex reports, dashboards, and Prism datasets.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data quality.
Experience working in agile product or development teams.
Nice to have:
Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven reporting (e.g., pay equity, audit, HR compliance).
Familiarity with Workday Data Conversion, Discovery Boards, or People Analytics.
