We are a team of Engineers who are a mixture of technical specialists and engineering leads and all passionate about finding technical solutions to support AIRBUS products, specifically A220 Wings. We have a vast wealth of knowledge and experience within our engineers who can help you grow technically and personally within this role.
We have a strategy which is strongly focused on continuous individual growth through in-role and classroom learning, cross-program experiences.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM:
Design of composite and metallic Wing structures
Able to assess design solutions within the time, cost and quality parameters
Create design schemes, frontier and interfaces drawings and Data for manufacture (component drawings)
Support the validation of design requirements and agreement of deviations.
Deliver and enable technical studies, trades and investigations to ensure the delivery of technical solutions in accordance to relevant Design methods and procedures
Experience in providing engineering dispositions for manufacturing defects is desirable
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competences:
Experience within a Design environment along with a sound engineering knowledge of Manufacturing and Design techniques, procedures and practices.
Willingness to learn how to propose solutions and solve problems
Knowledge and experience of metallic and composite structures
Knowledge and experience of design toolsets.
Experience in supporting concessions is desirable
Opportunity to develop IT skills associated with engineering activities
Wing Structure knowledge would be advantageous.
Ability to analyse, propose and solve technical problems.
Ensure delivery of own tasks whilst adhering to time, cost and quality parameters.
Excellent communication skills and a drive to deliver customer value and quality.
