WHAT YOU'LL DO
- You will be cranking on the analysis critical to help shape the roadmap for new Maneuver Dominance products. This work is central to how Maneuver Dominance develops its product strategy and rapidly builds new capabilities for the warfighter.
- We’re not huge on PowerPoint decks, but the slides you produce will be thoughtful, well-researched, and well-formatted for an executive audience.
- You will be able to produce high quality work at speed - conducting open source Market Research to create actionable insights on the current state of the art.
- You will apply critical thinking to problems, leveraging your experience and Anduril's advanced capabilities to build new concepts that dominate the future fight.
- You will work across the portfolio of Maneuver Dominance programs and products - articulating the perspective of the Warfighter for both novel ground and air systems.
- You will partner with Operations Analysis team members to help inform simulation capabilities and experiment analysis.
- You will help Anduril's software engineers expand their understanding of complex military scenarios to support our product development.
- You will engage with the customer and key stakeholders, working as a thought partner and conduit between the tactician and the technician.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- You have previously had 8 -10 yrs of experience in Defence, preferably in aviation, multi domain operations or specialist roles.
- You must have a demonstrated curiosity and ability to learn outside of your core discipline and previous experience.
- You are a low ego individual who is humble and hungry; no task is too small or beneath you, and you will bring a just-get-it-done mindset to work every day.
- You are self-driven and relentlessly proactive. You don’t need someone to tell you to “move”. You just move. We’d rather have to tell you to slow down than to speed up.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- You have 2+ years of experience in defence consulting/analytical roles.
- You don’t wait on others to solve problems. You proactively step into the gap to offer solutions yourself.
- You have strong analytical aptitude. You intuitively think about problems in terms of numbers and models, and you are able to execute analyses quickly in Excel.
- You are comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work. This role can at-times require comms to large groups and senior leadership. This should excite you!
- You have an underlying interest in differing military doctrine and how countries employ their capabilities. You follow world events closely - considering how you could leverage future technologies to solve these problems.
- Conceptual understanding of aerospace/aeronautical systems (including fixed wing, rockets, satellites, rotorcraft, etc.)
- Experience working with/developing multi-system mission level simulations in one or more domains (subsurface, surface, ground, air, and space)
- Comfortable working in a startup environment.
- Technological native - interested in using the most current AI tools to augment your workflow.
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
