Inbound Materials Warehouse Manager
Location: Kitt Green, Wigan, UK
Working hours: Days-based, Monday-Friday, with occasional night shift support
Contract: Full-time

About the Role
As Inbound Materials Warehouse Manager, you will manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw and packaging materials in our warehouse, supporting the smooth running of manufacturing operations.
You will lead a team across a 3-shift operation, driving warehouse performance and embedding the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) to ensure our operations meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
Warehouse Operations
  • Manage day-to-day activities for raw and packaging material warehousing, ensuring compliance with KHMS, EHS, and FSQ standards.
  • Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, including cycle counting and reconciliation.

Inventory Management
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise stock levels, reduce waste, and control costs.
  • Collaborate with Scheduling and Procurement to ensure timely and accurate ordering.

Quality and Safety
  • Ensure full compliance with Kraft Heinz quality and safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Supply Chain Collaboration
  • Partner with Manufacturing to ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines.
  • Work closely with Scheduling and Procurement to ensure efficient transportation and receipt of materials.

Performance and Reporting
  • Track and report KPIs including inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and cost savings.
  • Provide insights to drive performance improvement.

Team Leadership
  • Develop and implement training programs for warehouse staff.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and personal growth.

What You'll Have
  • 3+ years' warehouse management experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
