As the Research Team Lead at Nutmeg you will guide and inspire our team of UX researchers to understand our clients better and help to design the best experiences for them across our suite of products and services. We are looking for someone who can be the lead for the team, both in terms of direct management as well as representing the research function to the rest of the business. This is also a hands-on role, where we expect you to be an active participant in research activity and helping to define appropriate research methodologies.
Job responsibilities:
Serving as a thought leader in UX research and market research, championing and advocating for user-centered design and data-driven decision-making.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, CX, Marketing, Brand, Engineering, Service, etc.) to align priorities and roadmaps.
Promoting the integration of research within other team processes and advocating for the research team across the organization.
Overseeing and negotiating the research budget to maximize impact and efficiency.
Enhance standard research processes, improve efficiencies, and manage stakeholder relationships.
Providing line management for the research team, supporting their personal development and growth.
Reporting on research activities and priorities across the team.
Ensuring thorough documentation and audit trails for research initiatives, including compliance with consumer duty requirements.

- Graduate level qualification or equivalent experience.
