We are seeking a User Experience Designer to join our team. As a UX designer, you will be responsible for the user interface design of our portfolio of websites and custom applications along with building and maintaining related design systems. Qualified candidates will be expected to have a working knowledge of best UX practices, accessibility requirements, and user interface standards. Your duties will include communicating with clients to turn their business requirements into concise wireframes and mock-ups so developers can build high-quality UI components with scalability in mind. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work quickly, strong attention to detail, eagerness to pitch new ideas, and very strong communication skills that can lead a client discussion.
Visual designs are also important in the work we do. You will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining a consistent visual identity for a variety of brands. This includes creating logos, color schemes, and brand style guides that represent that brand's personality.
Proficient experience working with front-end and back-end developers, project managers and engineering teams is required. Must be collaborative, innovative, and team-oriented in this fast-paced environment.
Below are the qualifications expected of a UX Designer:

  • Bachelor's degree in interaction design, computer science or a related field
  • 4+ years' experience designing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible solutions that put users first.
  • Very strong knowledge of Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch etc. required.
  • Proficiency with Photoshop/Illustrator/Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • Experience designing analytics dashboards (data visualization).
  • Experience with cross-browser UI design.
  • Background in graphic design.
  • Basic understanding of Web Accessibility standards.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS and Bootstrap is a plus.
  • Video editing skills is a plus.
