Position Summary
Someone who has working experience as a data analyst in analytics projects. Someone who can collaborate with business partners, engineering & development team to design & document implementation/remediation approach. Someone has good experience on Data Analysis, Data Transformation and Data Warehousing. Someone is flexible to be available during US business hours.
Job Responsibilities
1. Gathering requirements, documentation and devising plans for testing securities requirements.
2. Experience in Insurance domain.
3. Experience in different security frameworks and implementation.
4. Great problem solver with extremely high curiosity on security standard.
5. Be an individual contributor and/or responsible for requirement analysis and documentation and plan for execution and experience in guiding/mentoring others.
6. Experience in Data modelling , Data Warehousing and Data Transformation ETL.
7. Experience in designing end to end data flow model.
8. Experience in SQL and HIVE.
9. Exposure to Agile/Scrum.
10. Supports applications with an understanding of overall life cycle of project.
11. Excellent analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
12. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
13. Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience
• 7 to 10 years of strong experience in business analysis application development insurance domain with SQL, HIVE and ETL.
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
• Requirement capturing
• Document drafting such as BRD, FRD, Mapping Documents, Data Modelling etc.
• Drive application development & testing efforts
• Data Analysis
• Strong SQL, HIVE
• Understanding on Big Data.
• Basic Azure Cloud Knowledge
Other Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training - if required)
• Open to operate during US business hours.
