About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up to provide comprehensive administrative to Subject Matter Experts in our Wealth Management and Capital Markets departments. In the role, the successful candidate will: 

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, and other materials as requested by the SMEs.
  • Support with updating issue logs, RAID logs and relevant 1LOD team materials.
  • Support the 1LOD team with prioritisation based on urgency of activities across three lines of defence.
  • Schedule meetings with stakeholders across 1LOD, 2LOD and 3LOD.
  • Take meeting minutes and distribute to 1LOD teams.
  • Act as a liaison between team members and other internal parties, ensuring effective communication and coordination of tasks.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by SMEs or other senior team members.

Requirements

About you

 We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognised University or College.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry would be desirable
  • The ability to act as an administrative assistant in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and environments in a fast-paced industry.
  • Collaborative attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Please note this is a 18 month FTC role based in Belfast.
