Description

Kendago is a successful fast-growing global digital marketing group, specializing in direct response advertising.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our team part time

You will be responsible for transforming product requirements into intuitive, visually appealing, and responsive designs.

This role requires close collaboration with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders throughout the development cycle to ensure our products are both functional and delightful to use.


Requirements

Skills:

  • Strong design and UI/UX skills, mobile and desktop
  • Ability to translate user stories into design solutions
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles
  • Solid grasp of HTML/CSS basics to communicate effectively with developers
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital advertising and web best practices
  • Fluent English 

Experience

  • 3+ years as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
  • Portfolio showing strong and varied graphic design experience 

Tools

  • Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe suit, Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with other tools like Sketch, Adobe XD is a plus.

Mindset 

  • Detail-oriented, collaborative and driven by user experience excellence.
  • Great interpersonal skills, able to work with different departments and multiple stakeholders

Bonus/Advantages:

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Ability to create and use storyboards to visualize user flows and product interactions with storybooks or similar applications
  • A degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
  • Digital image illustration - an advantage
  • Motion graphics skills - an advantage

Responsibilities

Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals; Branding, Website funnels, Landing pages, Presentations, Brand content, and more.

User-Centered Design

  • Create and refine user stories and journey maps
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve designs.

Design & Prototyping

  • Use Figma and other modern design tools to create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Ensure all designs are responsive and optimized for different devices and screen sizes.
  • Maintain a consistent design system and style guide across all products.

Collaboration in the Development Cycle

  • Work closely with developers to ensure designs are accurately implemented.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to align designs with product requirements, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews to integrate design seamlessly into the Agile development cycle.

Modern Design Practices

  • Stay up to date with UI/UX best practices, accessibility guidelines, and design trends.
  • Apply modern interaction patterns to enhance user experience.
