- Create system diagrams and UI/UX visuals that communicate the interconnected nature of our product suite

- Work closely with hardware and systems teams to ensure alignment between form, function, and design

3.       Software Application UX/UI

- Lead the UI/UX design of our platform’s core application – the primary interface for users to access features, monitor activity, and manage devices

- Translate user needs into intuitive wireframes, prototypes, and final UI

- Iterate based on feedback and user testing to ensure usability and clarity

- Collaborate with developers to ensure high-fidelity implementation of design specs

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, including both web and mobile interfaces

- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality user interface design, branding, and system integration concepts

- Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools

- UI: Skilled in designing intuitive layouts, applying cohesive color themes, and creating clear buttons and navigation flows

- UX: Ability to design seamless user journeys from initial application installation through to everyday product use, ensuring clarity and ease at every step

-Must have hands-on experience in designing PC (desktop) applications.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience designing ecosystems that span both hardware and software

- Background in cybersecurity, IoT, or enterprise software

- Familiarity with animation and interaction design

- Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
