Role title: Treasury Analytics Manager

The Treasury Analytics team at Boku is crucial in supporting the Banking and Settlements team and the wider global money movement operations of the business. You will assist in the implementation of the Treasury analytics strategy, enhance forecasting methods, and analyze FX positions and risks to support strategic planning. You will manage the centralized Treasury data warehouse, develop FX and interest rate models, and drive process improvements using analytical insights. Additionally, you will analyze data for stakeholders, present complex datasets clearly, and create custom dashboards using BI tools.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Implementing Treasury Analytics Strategy:  Help drive forward the development and execution of the Treasury analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Forecasting and Cash Management: Improve forecasting methods for Cash Management and other Treasury areas, enhancing accuracy and reliability.
  • FX Position and Risk Analysis: Analyze and assess foreign exchange (FX) positions and associated risks, providing actionable insights to mitigate potential issues.
  • Model Development: Build and refine FX and interest rate models to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Data Manipulation: Manipulate internal and external FX data to support commercial activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Data Warehouse Management: Develop, maintain, and enhance a centralized Treasury data warehouse, ensuring data is collated and enriched according to agreed standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to current Treasury processes using analytical insights, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret data to create visibility for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present and communicate complex datasets to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, ensuring understanding and engagement.
  • Dashboard Creation: Create custom dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to provide real-time insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Finance/Treasury Understanding: Experience working with or in a Finance/Treasury function
  • Write SQL queries: Good knowledge of writing SQL queries
  • Quantitative Skills: Strong understanding of financial modelling and machine learning techniques
  • Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to stakeholders
  • Experience using BI Tools: Tableau, Power BI etc.
  • Data management: Knowledge of how to handle Big Data and managing data within a Data Warehouse

Qualifications

  • Degree in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science or a similar subject is desirable
