Crozier is seeking a highly motivated Transport Supervisor to join our Crozier Operations team.
The role...
In this vital role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of drivers and vehicles to maintain and improve the level of client service at a site level. You will report to the Operations Service Manager and play a key part in the daily site operation.
The Crozier team is dedicated to being the primary service provider for the care, movement, and long-term preservation of art and culture worldwide.
Responsibilities....
Lead and manage daily transport operations to ensure the prompt dispatch of vehicles and that all Drivers and Technicians have the correct, up-to-date paperwork for their routes and loads.
Collaborate with all internal departments to ensure transport execution delivers a consistently high level of customer service and meets client expectations for the movement of art and culture assets.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards by managing daily operations in line with Crozier policies, all driver hours, and vehicle compliance requirements.
What You'll Bring
Proven ability in managing and supervising a team of drivers and vehicles within a transport or logistics operation.
Strong knowledge of UK driver hours, tachograph regulations, and general vehicle compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team player in a fast-paced, pressured environment.
Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, to ensure accuracy and attention to detail in reporting and paperwork.
