What you'll be doing;
Supervising drivers daily route sheets and paperwork
Be the first point of contact for all Transport queries
Carry out periodic checks of driving licence, ADR certificate, CPC card checks
Coordination of breakdowns & recovery
Liaising and managing service providers to book all scheduled and non scheduled work
Ensuring all defect reports are actioned
Compliance with all Veolia policies and procedures
Assist with driver daily debriefs
Carrying out any other reasonable duties as instructed by the Transport Manager
What we're looking for;
Excellent organisational skills
Previous experience gained working within Transport
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Good IT skills
Previous experience working within the waste industry is advantageous
Interest in career progression
