We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Trade Marketing Manager to own and manage the marketing relationship for a mall cluster our key UK&I retail partners. In this high-impact role, you will lead the trade marketing strategy for the Shark & Ninja brands for these partners across all relevant categories. You'll bring an integrated marketing mindset, ensuring all retail activities align with broader brand and business objectives. The position is based in our central London office (Hybrid - 3 days a week).
What You'll Do:
  • Retail Partner Leadership:
Serve as the primary marketing lead for your cluster, owning the relationship and end-to-end planning, execution, and optimisation of retailer marketing initiatives.
  • Brand Leadership:
Lead trade marketing strategy and execution for the Shark & Ninja brands.
  • Omnichannel Marketing & Digital Commerce
    • Lead activation across retailer media ecosystems (e.g. onsite, offsite, CRM, and data-led targeting)
    • Partner with retailer category managers and digital teams to optimise the digital content, and conversion across key partners.
  • Budget tracking & Commercial Accountability:
    • Apply an integrated marketing lens to the planning and execution of Co-op and other marketing budgets to maximise return and alignment across channels.
    • Own trade marketing performance for your retail accounts, with clear accountability for ROI, incremental revenue, and commercial delivery against targets.
  • Data-Driven Optimisation:
Leverage internal data and insights from retailers and third-party vendors to optimise return on ad spend (ROAS) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure trade marketing plans support and enhance commercial targets.
    • Partner with Category Marketing, Brand, Retail Display, Field Marketing, Strategy, Sales, and Analytics to ensure alignment with cross-category product launches and brand campaigns.
    • Align trade marketing investments with UKI Media, Social, and PR teams to ensure unified and impactful customer-facing messaging.
  • Global Collaboration:
Work with Trade Marketing colleagues across international markets to share learnings, best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring:
  • Experience working with major UK&I retailers and navigating complex joint business planning environments.
  • Proven ability to plan across multiple categories within a brand portfolio, managing and balancing complex budget allocations.
  • Proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of ROAS and performance marketing metrics.
  • A highly inquisitive mindset with a data-driven approach to problem solving and optimisation.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile environment with the ability to pivot plans quickly.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - able to tailor narratives to different audiences and influence across functions.
  • A growth-oriented, "explorer" mindset - forward-thinking, innovative, and never complacent.
  • Outcome-focused - prioritising goals over rigid plans and comfortable with changing direction when new insights or challenges emerge.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
