As a Test Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Test Development Team as well as developing test systems for our TM500 Product, and its component parts, such as servers and radios.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the Production Test Development Team including:

  • Allocate resources to match the project requirements.

  • Produce strategy to align test development activities with company objectives.

  • Implement performance management system.

  • Cascade company information to team.

Deliver test systems to production to the required quality ensuring timely delivery and minimal cost including:

  • Devising test plan.

  • Writing test code.

  • Specifying test equipment.

  • Procuring any test jigs required.

  • Issue debugging – analyzing logs, reproducing issues, and resolving confirmed test system issues.

  • Creating and updating test documents.

As well as:

  • Maintain and upgrade existing test systems.

  • Help in the development of new products by providing test systems and help with design proving to the design team.

  • Support to production and at subcontractors.

  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and networking.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline, although equivalent experience in the RF measurement, programming, and fault-finding field would be acceptable.

  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and networking.

  • A good working experience with test software development in C#.

  • An understanding of NI Test Stand and Python.

  • Demonstrable working experience with test software development in C#.

  • Experience within a production environment.

  • Experience as a line manager or relevant role, with the ability to work with little input.

  • Strong collaboration and team working skills, including cross-functionally, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships across all levels.

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • The ability to work within multiple and/or complex projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Ability to solve complex issues using in depth evaluation methods and techniques.

  • Contributes to strategic decision-making.

  • Experience of mentoring and coaching the same or junior levels.

  • Ability to foster and reinforce teamwork and trust.
