About the role:

There’s a new opportunity within our Commercial Product Sales team for an established Technical Solutions Manager to join the team. Reporting directly to the Regional Solutions Manager, you’ll play an integral part maximising market share and sales through relationships with regional contractors and the value creation of opportunities and winning projects with key merchants. You will need to enhance the customer experience and provide a competitive advantage within Commercial HVAC market for Baxi.

What will you be doing?

As the Technical Solutions Manager for the South Central England, North & West London region, you will be instrumental in developing sales for Commercial Boilers and Andrews Water Heaters, along with all ASHP opportunities that come through contractor or merchant relationships.

On a daily basis you’ll be responsible for:

  • Striving to recover share and volume for commercial products, whilst being mindful of margin contributions.
  • Work with the Head of Technical solutions, who will provide support on ASHP and Hybrid options where required.
  • Fully embracing the vision and values of the company
  • Organised, pro-active approach to managing sales activity for the company.
  • Deliver the budget and build the project pipeline
  • Meet and exceed all KPI’s outlined by your Manager
  • Manage day-to-day activities, reports and communications
  • Reducing the focus and thus importance on forecast demand and identify trends -By having close relationships with key customers and decision makers
  • Working on multiple projects at different stages, at the same time
  • Negotiating and managing the needs and expectations of our customers aiming to influence the buying decision
  • Providing a range of information including CAD/BIM objects, technical reports, information on regulations, test certification, installation guides, pricing and availability
  • You will be expected to identify and develop new customer relationships as well as managing existing accounts
  • To build effective and cooperative working relationships will all internal and external colleagues eg non conflicting Manufacturers
  • To ensure all Health and Safety procedures and current guidelines are upheld

About you:

We want to make sure you’re set up for success in our mission. To be successful in your application you’ll need to;

  • Have extensive experience within a technical and engineering discipline or be educated to HND/degree level.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales and lead generation across multiple channels and multiple market segments.
  • Experience of senior level negotiation and dealing with conflict
  • Ability to use mathematical concepts to create solutions for presentation and implementation to a non-technical audience.
  • Highly numerate, ability to turn data into information and action.
  • Ability to understand and interpret the market, products and services
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Broad knowledge of UK Construction markets and routes to market
  • Excellent all-round communicator, possessing strong electronic, written and oral communication abilities, with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Worked across multiple market segments and applications in the construction industry
