INTRODUCTION:
Drive departmental sales and collaboration through technical demonstrations of our software products. Promote a world-class customer experience and support the customer life cycle program as outlined. Cross-departmental cooperation and assistance in customer retention. This position is an integral part of ABC’s long-term relationship with its customers, and the efforts put forth by this individual will directly impact the value realized by the customer and the ultimate success of the relationship. In order to succeed in this position, this individual must have the passion and energy to work in a startup, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Establish and foster trusted-advisor relationships with potential clients to ensure they receive the highest quality demo and presentation of ABC’s products and services.
- Expert on ABC applications and promotes use of best practices and strategies for driving high usage and adoption of ABC applications.
- Assist the SAE’s and AE’s in following the defined Strategic Selling sales process and ensure that potential clients receive knowledge and understanding of ABC’s products and services.
- Train new sales team members on ABC products as needed.
- Manage client expectations effectively throughout the demo and sales process.
- Ensure overall client satisfaction through successful delivery of ABC services to new and potential clients.
- Understand potential and new client wants/needs and work with the product management team to suggest, design, and deliver product enhancements and solutions.
- Own and lead multiple, simultaneous customer engagements demonstrating ABC’s products and services.
- Provide business acumen for customers and strive to understand the business problem we are solving to best configure the solution and exceed customer expectations.
- Coordinate and attend meetings and events including the execution of details for logistics, packing, scheduling of shipments and booth services, software prep, demonstrations.
- Cultivate strategic partners and vendor relationships.
- Oversee and manage the hardware analysis/ordering function for the sales team.
- Document all sales activity in Salesforce.
- Own the transition of the relationship from Sales to Conversion/On-Boarding/Merchant Services to create a seamless sales transition/customer on-boarding process.
- Responsible for gathering and/or managing all on-board documents for the sales team.
- Independently evaluate options for resolving any issues with onboarding documents or transitioning accounts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- Meet deadlines for providing expense reports.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Demonstrated ability to manage individual and engagement-wide scope of work
- Demonstrated client relationship and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Client-focused attitude -- a customer advocate
- Superior communication skills – must be excellent at listening to customer needs, understanding requirements, and identifying technical and operational solutions.
- Ability to lead client training, design and knowledge transfer sessions both remote and on-site
- Ability to make independent decisions and take calculated risks
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- A proven track record of meeting with senior management and executives as the subject matter expert
- High level knowledge of enterprise IT organizational, business, and technical environments
- Team player with solid communication and presentation skills
- Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to make sound decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve using deductive reason skills in a timely manner
- Basic skills including but not limited to addition, multiplication and division of whole numbers, decimals and fractions
- Flexibility and adaptability to frequent change
- Ability to periodically lift 60 pounds
- Must be able to travel a minimum of 12 days per month
- Ability to drive a car and hold an unrestricted driver’s license
- May require the ability to travel domestically or internationally
- May need to be able to acquire a passport
- May frequently be required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel or bend, talk, or hear
AND IT’S GREAT TO HAVE:
- College degree highly recommended- vast ABC and industry experience can be substituted
- Sales Engineering experience preferred
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
