Job Title - IT Project Manager
Salary - Up to £60,000, with a total package up to £72,600 (car allowance/car, company pension scheme, bonus, private healthcare)
Location - London or Cannock, with flexible and hybrid working
Hours - Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What will you be doing?
The IT Project Manager will lead and manage business change projects, of value up to £3m, to optimise, evolve and grow Veolia. The key technical skills encompasses DevOps and system integration to effectively deliver projects to scope, time, cost and quality.
The role makes a significant contribution to Veolia’s business strategy and requires skill and tenacity in the areas of business change, IT technology procurement, negotiation, multi-disciplinary and external resource management. The successful candidate will deliver impactful IT projects in the business and be directly responsible for project budgets and outcomes.
Engage with internal customers and have strong stakeholder management skills.
Manage activities of the project team resources and stakeholders to deliver business change solutions underpinned by successful systems integration.
Stay current with the latest developments in project frameworks and methodologies.
Direct others through specification, statements of work and other appropriate methods in the detailed design, coding, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of underpinning information technology solutions.
Drive projects to a successful conclusion, using the most suitable project methodology, be that Agile or Waterfall.
Using expert knowledge of DevOps, system integration approaches and data architecture principles, ensure the management of IT integration delivery is of a high quality, and be able to identify risks and issues early.
Prepare and present project plans, status reports, cost forecasts, risk and issues logs, options appraisals, cost benefit studies and recommend funding and resources.
What are we looking for?
Proven track record using different methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
Formal project management qualification at practitioner level.
Evidence of leading business change as a project manager with a mixture of external vendor provision, business stakeholder management and process.
Evidence of completing full project lifecycles from options appraisal to business change adoption and sustainability.
Evidence of managing a wide range of stakeholders and colleagues as a successful project delivery team.
Working knowledge of business improvement techniques.
