About The Team
The CxO Transformation Partners (CXTP) team serves as trusted advisors to Cloudflare's most senior customers and prospects. We are a highly strategic group who simplify technical complexity and align our solutions with large-scale business objectives. Our mission is to unlock commercial outcomes by bridging the gap between deep technical capabilities and executive-level strategic goals.
About The Internship
The Technical Innovation Analyst Intern will accelerate key automation and AI initiatives for the Field CxO team, focusing on data engineering and rapid prototyping to enhance the team's ability to drive strategic customer outcomes and scale across the GTM organization. This role involves designing automated reporting frameworks, executive briefing dashboards, and AI-powered tools using capabilities sourced from the Cloudflare Developer platform and AI frameworks developed by the Cloudflare AI Factory. The intern will work in a high-impact, hands-on environment, collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, engineering, and the CISO team, while being paired with a dedicated Field CxO mentor. Everything built will see tangible impact on executive meetings, customer engagements, and internal efficiency.
What You'll Get To Do In This Role
  • Experiment with LLMs to build assistants that can summarize customer environments, develop tailor-made briefing content, or simulate "what-if" threat scenarios to support executive-level strategy sessions.
  • Own at least one flagship project end-to-end, such as the automated reporting framework, providing a strong portfolio deliverable and presentation to leadership.
  • Example projects may include:
    • Develop a scalable, automated monthly reporting system that consolidates CxO team activities, customer impact metrics, and historical insights, including building the foundation for an AI-powered data collection and summarisation methodology.
    • Design and implement automated AI data-driven dashboards that integrate Cloudflare signals, industry threat feeds, and customer-specific telemetry to provide tailored visual insights for CxO-led customer meetings and executive briefings.
    • Leverage AI to analyse internal data and event metrics to identify high-value customer opportunities and enable proactive, strategic outreach.
    • Build lightweight Cloudflare WorkersAI and Agentic prototypes or AI-driven proof-of-concepts (e.g., Zero Trust flows, AI-based log analysis, or cyber-resilience simulations) to illustrate Cloudflare capabilities during customer engagements.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Available for a full-time 12-week internship, working from our London office 3 days a week during the summer (June - September).
  • Hands-on experience with AI/LLM tooling and cloud-first demo environments, not just for chat but data extraction, summarization, and content generation.
  • Familiarity with or ability to rapidly learn Cloudflare Workers development.
  • Knowledge of industry threat intelligence data sources and automation tools.
  • Ability to own a high-impact project end-to-end and deliver portfolio-ready results.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies such as AI agents, Remote MCP servers and LLMs
  • Proficient in operating systems, networking, Internet technologies (SSL/TLS/HTTP/SSH etc) and ability to write code to solve simple problems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated focus on automation, data engineering, and rapid prototyping principles.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills. This role demands someone who is gifted in their ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including executives, product management, sales, and marketing.
  • Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative cloud services company.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
