Job Description

The Opportunity 

Flywire is seeking a driven and motivated Technical Implementation Manager II to deliver value to our clients and partners through solutions integration and implementation. This role supports our Sales and Relationship Management teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring strong client management, project management, and technical consultation skills to a fast-paced, dynamic team.

  • Support client acquisition efforts by delivering pre-sales presentations and documentation.
  • Present and clearly articulate product functionality, features, and standardized solutions.
  • Participate in discovery sessions to understand clients’ existing processes, pain points, and business objectives, and collaboratively define the best implementation approach.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert, presenting integration options to clients and integration partners.
  • Configure and test Flywire portals to meet client needs.
  • Provide day-to-day support for partners or clients with ongoing integration requirements.
  • Communicate progress and set clear expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage integration projects from pre-sales through go-live, including hands-on configuration and testing of Flywire solutions.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate with internal Product and Development teams to define enhancements to existing Flywire solutions.

Qualifications

Here’s What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas, concepts, and solutions.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • 4-8 years of experience in implementation roles; consulting experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for business.
  • Project management experience or certification (e.g. PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: Payments, Education, or Financial Services.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
  1. Systems integration

  2. Programming and web development

  3. Cloud computing

  4. Quality assurance and testing

  5. Database management

  6. Networking and infrastructure

  7. Business process modeling

  8. Project management

  9. Technical support
