SALARY: £81,999 - £91,110
LOCATION(S): London
HOURS: Full-time – 35 hours per week
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our London office.

This role in is in the Natural Language Engineering Lab, where we’re on a mission to develop innovative solutions for understanding and improving how our customers interact with the bank. One of the data sources that drives this mission is the web and mobile analytics data that we collect and visualise for multiple purposes such as behavioural insight, marketing and improving customer journeys.
As a Technical Specialist, you’ll be using the Tealium IQ tag management platform for managing the data collected as customers engage with our websites and mobile apps. This data feeds Adobe Analytics, our reporting and visualisation tool, that is used by over 500 colleagues to measure customer behaviour and generate actionable insights.
What you’ll do
As part of the Web Analytics team, you’ll be responsible for setting the strategy for Data Collection, defining how and where client-side data should be collected across our web and mobile properties, and providing support to teams across the group who integrate our tools into their journeys.
In addition, you’ll:
Use JavaScript to develop new client-side capabilities within Tealium IQ, testing them, documenting them, and following them through the release process
Use your knowledge of Customer Journeys to provide support to product owners around how best to understand customer behaviour in their journeys to drive improvements
Use your Adobe Analytics expertise to develop new ways of visualising data to better understand customer behaviour
Implement new tests using ObservePoint for ongoing site auditing or pre/post testing to maintain site integrity and data accuracy
Be an enthusiastic advocate for the use of data throughout the business, offering training and mentorship to colleagues to support them in their use of our tools
Deploy Tealium releases which deliver new capabilities to our sites and into customers' browsers
Contribute to our internal products and tooling that accelerate the work done to embed tags across the web and mobile ecosyst

What you’ll need
Experience in digital analytics in an enterprise setting preferably using Adobe Analytics
Understand how website and mobile apps work, including programming and markup languages
Familiarity with programming concepts in general, and scripting languages in particular. JavaScript experience would be ideal
Understanding of the software development lifecycle within an agile organisation
Have knowledge of data, including its creation, collection, enrichment, and processing, and its utilisation for improving the customer experience in a business setting
Experience with the concept of customer journeys, such as sales funnels, servicing journeys, and mobile app functionality
