Join our dynamic Reliability team within International Consumer (which includes Chase UK), to enhance customer experience and safeguard our business by ensuring our products and services are reliable at every step. As a senior leader in the Governance & Transformation team, you will be responsible for delivery of end-to-end control reviews and strategic enhancements, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory expectations. This role requires excellent analytical skills, programme management, advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as a passion for driving innovation through automation and AI.
Job responsibilities:
  • Strategically assess ICB Technology processes before audits, prioritizing controls for review based on key criteria.
  • Evaluate technology controls using a detailed checklist and firmwide requirements to identify gaps.
  • Create clear, logical findings and recommendations for control owners based on analysis results.
  • Communicate recommendations effectively to process and control stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Monitor remediation of findings, escalating issues in case of delays, blockers, or shifting priorities.
  • Lead ongoing improvements to the Continuous Testing Framework (CTF).
  • Advocate for automation and AI solutions to boost control effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in defining governance models, KPIs, and reporting structures for Continuous Testing.
  • Manage sprint planning and maintain the Continuous Testing roadmap, aligning with business, risk, and regulatory priorities.
  • Proactively gather feedback and identify strategic enhancements to the Continuous Testing Framework.
  • Serve as the main contact for Continuous Testing stakeholders, represent the team at key forums, deliver presentations, build relationships with risk leads, and mentor team members to foster a culture of improvement and innovation

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills :
  • Extensive background in operational risk and controls, with hands-on experience across various technology processes.
  • Strong analytical abilities, capable of synthesizing complex data and presenting impactful insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Deep interest in technology governance and a readiness to take on programme management responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of mentoring junior team members, managing resources efficiently, and driving results in Agile environments.
  • Experience collaborating with compliance, regulatory, and audit teams, with thorough knowledge of 1LOD, 2LOD, and 3LOD frameworks.
  • Skilled in evaluating and articulating AI and automation use cases, including conducting cost-benefit analyses.
  • Strategic mindset, able to inspire and align team members with a clear and compelling vision.
  • Flexible in adjusting plans and reallocating resources to meet evolving business priorities.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation capabilities, with experience reporting to senior forums and committees.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and willing to challenge existing practices to promote continuous improvement.
