We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Compliance Specialist to join our local Tax team of 12 professionals. Reporting to a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing tax compliance for a portfolio of client companies, with a focus on a specific client sector. You will play a key role in ensuring that these companies remain in full compliance with Spanish tax regulations.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Compliance Specialist to join our local Tax team of 12 professionals. Reporting to a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing tax compliance for a portfolio of client companies, with a focus on a specific client sector. You will play a key role in ensuring that these companies remain in full compliance with Spanish tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including:
- VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Withholding Taxes, Non-Resident Taxes, Transfer Tax, Business Activity Tax, and other local taxes
- Handle census status and updates
- Prepare and manage communications with Spanish tax authorities
- Support and manage tax procedures in coordination with the Senior Tax Manager
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar tax compliance role
- Experience in the Real Estate sector is highly preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fiscal Law, Business Administration, or related field
- Fluent in Spanish and professional-level English (B2) - strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure
