As a Talent Development & Learning Administrator within Kainos, you will support the administration and running of this internal function, which delivers a range of services to our internal customers within Kainos, particularly the Workday Business Unit. This includes servicing all learning initiatives across Kainos, including the Workday Academy programmes delivered to our Services and Product teams. This involves administration responsibilities across all learning and development needs, including onboarding, Workday learning and certification, tools, processes, documentation, guidance, and troubleshooting. This is a fast-paced, challenging environment, and we are seeking someone who is highly organised, with a keen interest in training administration and logistics, as well as internal customer service. 

 

What you’ll do: 

You will be responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative and logistics tasks, which will include, but not be limited to, the following duties: 

 

  • Execute designated administration and logistics duties related to onboarding of new team members, Workday certification training, and Workday Practice leavers. 

  • Deliver an efficient support function within the TD&L team by maintaining accurate records, data files, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of the Employee Hub. 

  • Process, track and respond to Learning JIRA support tickets and complete related offline administration and logistics activities. 

  • Assist in the resolution of support queries and requests from across our Workday and wider Kainos teams, responding in a timely and professional manner. 

  • Actively contribute to the development of Learning tools, processes, procedures, and documentation, as we scale for company growth. 

  • Providing a high level of customer service to our internal customers 

  • Represent Kainos professionally and effectively when interacting with Workday Inc. teams and tools. Maintain professional interactions with the Workday Education, Partner Centre, and Community Administrator teams. 

 

Who you are (Minimum Essential Requirements): 

  • Demonstrable experience in an office-based administration role, preferably within the business services sector, providing administration support in an internal, customer service and/or Learning & Development environment 

  • Capable of working with limited supervision. 

  • Approaches work tasks with attention to detail and enjoys detailed routine tasks 

  • Highly organised person, with the ability and desire to plan and prioritise work to meet Workday Learning and personal deadlines, objectives and service levels 

  • Demonstrable proficiency in using, maintaining and creating Excel for the calculation of financial and other numeric data and reports 

  • You apply all relevant standards and procedures to your own work  

  • You comply with all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensure the security of information at all times 

  • We are a customer-focused business, so people with strong communication skills, who are professional, credible and open are a must 

  • We all work in teams here in Kainos – strong team skills are crucial 

  • We pride ourselves on doing our best and delivering to a high standard, so attention to detail and having a high-quality focus are definitely required 

  • You’ll have a flexible, "can-do" attitude, with the ability to manage your own time and be enthusiastic to learn 

 

Desirable 

  • Familiarity with JIRA, SharePoint, Workday 

  • Previous experience in a similar role 

  • Experience with Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent 

  • Completed (or currently undertaking) a degree in any discipline, with an interest in Learning & Development, Workday, and Internal Operations
