Provide administrative support for depot operations, maintain health and safety compliance, manage records and documentation, coordinate depot activities, liaise with teams, support continuous improvement, and assist the depot manager with ad-hoc tasks.
At Tankwash Ltd, we provide cutting-edge services for road tankers and STC-owned tanks, including cleaning, heating, storage, and repairs. We are looking for a dedicated individual to take on a dual role, receiving comprehensive training and support. This position is ideal for someone eager to develop their skills in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Support office operations and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily functions.
- Maintain health and safety compliance within the terminal, following strict guidelines.
- Assist in the coordination and organization of depot activities, ensuring efficient operations.
- Liaise with various teams and departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage and update records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Assist in the implementation of new processes and procedures, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Provide administrative support to the depot manager and team leaders as required.
- Ensure a safe and secure working environment, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service, representing the company's values.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the depot manager or senior management.
- A strong interest in administrative work and a desire to develop skills in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive work environment.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to undergo training and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations is preferred but not essential.
