As a Staffing (Resource) Manager at Kainos, you will be responsible for the day-to-day staffing of projects within Workday EMEA.
You will ensure the talent pool has the appropriate skills for forecasted projects while maximising profitable utilisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the day to day staffing activities across multiple locations
Working to the guidelines and SLA’s within the Staffing team
Managing staff availability while minimising overall BU bench time
Identifying creative solutions to solve staffing issues
Working with Delivery Directors to ensure that our delivery staff are appropriately assigned to project work, being mindful of the business and individual’s needs.
Communicating changes in staff allocations to the appropriate individuals
Preparing timely relevant reports as required
Provide analysis and of future demand to inform workforce planning
Support contingent worker recruitment
What we are looking for:
Experience of staff management and assignment taking account for project and individual’s needs in a professional services organisation
Understanding of the commercials within a professional services environment.
Experience multi-tasking and prioritising.
Excellent communication skills with an affable and credible persona.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure, taking a balanced view of strategy, profitability, and staffing needs.
Ability to build sound relationships with senior stakeholders.
Attention to detail
Strong ability to work to tight deadlines.
A positive “can do” attitude towards the commercial, technical and staffing challenges facing Kainos.
Highly flexible, including a willingness to travel offsite including all Kainos offices as and when required
Nice to have:
Experience of using a dedicated staff scheduling tool – preferably Retain
A technical background and awareness of latest technologies
Experience of developing and improving processes to increase the efficiency of the business.
Knowledge of the different roles within a Workday Implementation
