They operate with an AI and Platform-focused mindset, embedding automation and intelligence into core user experiences. The team consists of approximately 45 and growing, spanning UX, Product Design, Research, Design Enablement, and Content.
About the Role
As a Staff Product Designer, you will drive the transformation of how users engage with a cybersecurity platform, from foundational architecture to end-user workflows. You'll design not just screens, but flexible frameworks rooted in object-oriented thinking, backed by data relationships, and actively shape the evolution of our design system to meet complex platform needs.
You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, architects, and our user research team to understand user needs, identify opportunities for AI and automation, and validate design decisions through metrics and real-world usage.
You will report directly into the Senior Manager, Product Design.
You'll bring a passion for systems thinking, curiosity for cybersecurity, and a desire to deliver design work that's not just usable but measurably impactful.

- Lead the design of scalable, modular product experiences, ensuring deep alignment with platform architecture and driving optimization of core cybersecurity workflows.
- Translate complex, technical data into clear, intuitive experiences that support investigation, analysis, and response.
- Collaborate closely with the research team to formulate research questions and lead the application of research insights to inform critical design decisions and strategic product opportunities.
- Apply object-oriented UX principles to build reusable components and workflows tied to core platform entities.
- Extend and evolve our design system to support cross-product consistency, accessibility, and efficiency.
- Use customer insights and behavioral data to drive design decisions and prioritize improvements.
- Define success metrics for your work and partner with product and analytics teams to measure impact.
- Proactively identify and develop innovative design solutions that strategically integrate AI and intelligent automation into workflows, aiming to significantly enhance user speed, accuracy, and outcomes.
- Lead the partnership with engineering to ensure thoughtful, consistent, and scalable implementation of designs, proactively addressing technical challenges and optimizing for long-term maintainability.
The skills and qualities you'll bring include:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in product or UX design, preferably in B2B, enterprise, or platform environments, with a demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex design initiatives.
- Experience designing for complex workflows, data-driven interfaces, or technical user audiences.
- Strong collaboration with research, product, and engineering partners.
- Ability to define and track metrics to validate the impact of design work.
- Experience contributing to or managing design systems.
- Familiarity with or interest in object-oriented design, platform logic, and data models.
- Strong skills in systems thinking, interaction design, and data-connected workflows.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma and experience working with design systems.
- Curiosity about how AI and automation can improve product utility and efficiency.
- Interest in how AI and automation can streamline decision-making and enhance user productivity.
- Strong cross-functional communication and ability to influence product direction.
- Curiosity or experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or adjacent technical domains.
Nice to Have
- Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or data-intensive platforms.
- Exposure to analytics tools or experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, retention analysis).
- Understanding of data visualization, workflows for technical users, or investigation tools.
- Prior involvement in digital platform transformation or modernization initiatives.
- Exposure to AI product design or adaptive interfaces.
- Background in product modernization or design transformation efforts.
- Familiarity with information architecture, object oriented UX or content modeling
