We are seeking an exceptional Staff AI/ML Scientist to drive innovation in our intelligent supply chain platform. This role combines deep technical expertise in machine learning with practical knowledge of supply chain operations. You will be responsible for developing cutting-edge AI solutions that transform how our customers visualize, predict, and optimize their global supply chains.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced AI/ML models for ETA prediction, carrier performance analysis, and anomaly detection in logistics data
• Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems that connect our vast supply chain knowledge bases to large language models
• Build Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and conversational analytics interfaces that enable natural language interaction with complex supply chain data
• Design causal inference models to identify true cause-effect relationships in multi-tier supply chain disruptions
• Work on multi-modal language models and voice
• Implement graph-based algorithms for modeling and analyzing complex supplier networks
• Create robust machine learning pipelines that scale across billions of logistics events
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior data scientists and engineers
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into our platform

Who you are

• You are having 8+ years of experience in applied machine learning, AI engineering, or data science
• Working experience in at least one of agentic frameworks like crew ai, langchain, langgraph etc.
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, deep learning, and modern LLM applications
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, XGBoost)
• Deep understanding of transformer architectures and large language models
• Experience with neural network architectures 
• Experience with PyTorch ecosystem
• Knowledge of vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and embedding models
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data systems (Elasticsearch, Redshift, etc.)
• Experience implementing and deploying ML models in production environments
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts
• Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort working with ambiguous requirements
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related technical field
• Experience with supply chain, logistics, or transportation data
• Knowledge of geospatial data analysis and modeling
• Expertise in NLP and conversational AI applications
• Experience with distributed training techniques (DeepSpeed, FSDP, Model Parallelism)
• Familiarity with quantization, pruning, and model optimization techniques
• Understanding of reinforcement learning techniques
• Experience fine-tuning transformer models for domain-specific applications
• Experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, Weights & Biases, or Neptune
