We’re looking for an experienced SSAS Client Relationship Manager to join our specialist pensions team in Belfast. You’ll manage a portfolio of SSAS schemes, act as the main point of contact for trustees and advisers, and work closely with directors and consultants to deliver excellent client service.
Requirements:
minimum 4 years’ pension administration experience, ideally with SSAS expertise
strong knowledge of pensions, regulatory frameworks, and complex casework
excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities:
manage day-to-day administration of SSAS schemes and serve as primary client contact
set up new schemes, handle HMRC registration, and oversee scheme takeovers
prepare meeting packs, valuations, trustee reports, and scheme documentation
administer member events including transfers, retirements, and death benefits
support investments such as commercial property, borrowing, and loanbacks
ensure regulatory compliance (HMRC, TPR) and maintain accurate audit-ready records
support clients and advisers with technical queries and contribute to process improvements
