At PrizePicks, we are the fastest-growing sports company in North America, as recognized by Inc. 5000. As the leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports, we cover a diverse range of sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles like League of Legends and Counter-Strike. Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?

The Insights team at PrizePicks drives research-backed decision-making to enable industry-leading, customer-focused experiences. Our mission is to shape the future of gaming through unmatched insight at the core of every strategic decision. By deeply understanding sports fans and mobile gamers, we help build product and campaigns that define the next era of fantasy sports and gaming.

We’re looking for a sharp, adaptable researcher who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and wants their work to directly shape products used and loved by millions of people.

As a Lead Researcher, you’ll be more than a researcher; you’ll be a thought partner who helps teams see opportunities differently, challenge assumptions, and reframe strategies around player behavior. You’ll bring clarity to ambiguous spaces, craft compelling narratives for senior leaders, and influence decisions that have long lasting impact.

You’ll play a high-impact individual contributor role: embedded with cross-functional teams while also shaping the standards of excellence for our centralized Insights team. You’ll have the opportunity to run meaningful projects end-to-end while leveraging internal partners and external vendors to scale your impact.

This is a role for a researcher who’s not just comfortable driving decisions, but lives for the moment their insight unlocks a new direction.

What you’ll do:
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and strategy leaders to identify high-value research opportunities.
  • Design and lead custom mixed-method projects (surveys, interviews, netnography, secondary), with strong vendor and internal support to extend reach and capacity.
  • Synthesize across multiple inputs (custom studies, VOC channels, social listening, creative testing) and generate clear, actionable insights.
  • Partner with stakeholders to connect insights directly to product, brand, and growth strategies.
  • Craft compelling narratives that influence executives and spark decisive action.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our research practice, raising the bar on quality, creativity, and impact.
What you have:
  • 7+ years of user/market research experience in a business setting, including senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to connect research findings to business strategy and outcomes.
  • Mastery of qualitative research and strong competency in survey methodology; experience with secondary data a plus.
  • Confidence in influencing senior leaders through strong communication, storytelling, and presence.
  • Experience managing vendors and partners to extend capacity and impact.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and drive to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Where you’ll live:
  • This is a hybrid position based at our PrizePicks headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Not Local? No problem! We offer a competitive relocation package to help get you here.
Benefits you’ll receive:

In addition to your great compensation package, full-time employees will be eligible for the following perks:

  • Company-subsidized medical, dental, & vision plans
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Annual bonus
  • Flexible PTO to encourage a healthy work/life balance (2 weeks STRONGLY encouraged!)
  • Generous paid leave programs, including 16-week paid parental leave and disability benefits
  • Workplace flexibility and modern work schedules focused on getting the job done, not hours clocked
  • Company-wide in-person events and team outings
  • Lifestyle enhancement program
  • Company equipment provided (Windows & Mac options)
  • Annual performance reviews with opportunities for growth and career development

You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.  We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

PrizePicks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
