Are you a dynamic and creative salesperson with a passion for Bioproduction? Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled individual to join our European team as a Senior Inside Sales Account Manager, to help develop and grow the Bioproduction market.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and expand relationships within existing key accounts while exploring new opportunities in emerging segments.
- Collaborate with key influencers to manage selected accounts effectively.
- Partner with the Sales Manager to create and implement a Strategic Sales Plan for the territory.
- Utilize judgment and prioritization to mobilize the appropriate resources to achieve sales objectives.
- Compete for existing sales opportunities and generate new leads to meet or exceed targets.
- Work closely with the Field Team to ensure optimal support for key evaluations and projects in the region.
- Support and coach Inside Sales Intern, who will be allocated to your accounts.
- Deliver accurate forecasts, lost order reports, and competitive information.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of an additional local language is preferred.
- Experience in a commercial role, preferably within the Bioproduction market or related industry.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales expectations.
- Strong technical skills to support requirements in Cell and Gene Therapy, recombinant Proteins, and Monoclonal antibodies within Process Development, Pilot Plants, and manufacturing sciences.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with accounts in the territory.
- Expertise in understanding customer needs and identifying solutions.
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate territory sales data and technical information.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.com.
- Willingness to travel withing the region.
- Ability to collaborate in a matrix organization with shared product group responsibilities.
