As a Solutions Engineering Senior Manager you will oversee the build, maintenance, and refinement of high-performance, scalable systems through your expertise in development, infrastructure, and product discussions from conception to completion. You will foster an environment of agile technologists who imagine, develop, and launch solutions with transformative power. 

The Europe and Asia Application team manages in-house and vendor products. As a Solutions Engineering Senior Manager, you will be making technical decisions around how best to serve our customers through the products we offer.

Based in our London office, you will have frequent interactions with the Europe and Asia/Pacific client group leadership and teams including Publishing, Marketing technology, Business data & tools, Digital, and will work closely with global product teams.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partnering with senior level business management to develop a technology strategy vision and road maps in support of the client group’s objectives, and providing regular updates.

  • Leading the delivery of solutions for the global client group capability pillars (Sales Enablement, Digital, Content and Data) in alignment with business plans and product management capacity.

  • Coaching and mentoring teams, managers and leads, and assisting with issue resolution.

  • Building relationships with your customers, partner teams and the engineers on your team and globally.

  • Keeping abreast of new regulations impacting Client Group activities in Europe and Asia/Pacific.

  • Working with existing software platforms (Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce.com, Simcorp Coric, Seismic, Informatica MDM) to improve service levels.

  • Monitoring Service Management data and leveraging agile tools and methodologies for continuous delivery.

  • Measuring the quality of the work via monitoring, observability, and usage patterns.

  • Driving your team’s technical decisions.

  • Identifying and solving ambiguous problems.

Qualifications:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 

  • You have at least 12 years of technology management experience with expertise in product management, vendor management, and data management. 

  • You have at least 5 years of people management experience leading distributed teams. 

  • You have proven experience developing technology roadmaps and cultivating innovative technology solutions. 

  • You have strong business insights and are perceived as a leader of technology solution delivery. 

  • You have extensive technology vendor management experience. You have led technology direction, guidance and oversight of vendor solutions and integrations.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
