NVIDIA’s Worldwide Field Operations (WWFO) team is looking for a Solution Architect with strong expertise in datacenter design, networking topology, system architecture and software infrastructure deployments to work with our NVIDIA Cloud Partners (NCP). In our Solutions Architecture team, we work with the most exciting platform for accelerated computing to serve the latest breakthroughs in artificial intelligence. We need individuals who can enable customer and partner productivity. Our goal is to develop lasting relationships with our technology partners, making NVIDIA an integral part of end-user solutions. We are looking for someone who can maintain alignment in a fast paced and constantly evolving field.

As a Solutions Architect, you will be the first line of technical expertise between NVIDIA, our NCP partners and our end-customers. Your duties will vary from designing new systems, working on proof-of-concept demonstrations, to driving relationships with key technical executives and engineers to promote accelerated computing and Generative AI. Dynamically engaging with developers, scientific researchers, data scientists, IT managers and senior leaders is a meaningful part of the Solutions Architect role and will give you experience with a range of challenges and solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Engage with NCP to drive initiatives, shape new business opportunities, and cultivate collaborations in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), contributing to the advancement of our cloud solutions.

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for NVIDIA products and technology solutions in datacenters and artificial intelligence applications, closely collaborating with Engineering, Product Management, and Sales teams.

  • Serve as a technical specialist for GPU and networking products, collaborating closely with account managers to secure design wins and actively engaging with customer engineers, management, and architects at key accounts.

  • Conduct regular technical customer meetings to discuss project and product roadmaps, features, and introduce new technology solutions.

  • Strong technical presentation skills in English, confidence in developing Proofs-of-Concept, and a customer-focused mentality, coupled with good organization skills, a logical approach to problem-solving and effective time management for handling concurrent requests.

  • Lead technical project aspects of complex data center deployments, including design-win opportunities and engaging with our partners in RFP/RFI proposals.

What we need to see:

  • MS/PhD or similar in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, other Engineering fields with at least 5 years work or research experience in networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, and data center designs.

  • Ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of Solution Architect experience, demonstrating motivation and skills to drive the technical pre-sales process.

  • Deep expertise in datacenter engineering (mechanical, electrical and plumbing), GPU systems, high performance networking (like InfiniBand), including a proven understanding of network topologies and storage architecture.

  • Proficiency in system-level aspects, encompassing Operating Systems, Linux kernel drivers, GPUs, NICs, and infrastructure software solutions.

  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud orchestration software and job schedulers, including platforms like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and HPC-specific schedulers such as Slurm.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and their integration with traditional infrastructure is critical.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Knowledge in InfiniBand and Artificial Intelligence infrastructure.

  • Hands-on experience with NVIDIA systems/SDKs (e.g., CUDA), NVIDIA Networking technologies (e.g., DPU, RoCE, InfiniBand), ARM CPU solutions, coupled with proficiency in C/C++ programming, parallel programming, and GPU development.

  • Knowledge of DevOps/MLOps technologies such as Docker/containers, Kubernetes, data center compute/network/storage deployments.

  • Large scale systems management experience.

  • Experience with Python programming and AI workflow development and deployment (training/inference) would be helpful.

NVIDIA is at the forefront of breakthroughs in Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing, and Visualization. Our teams are composed of driven, innovative professionals dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology. We offer highly competitive salaries, an extensive benefits package, and a work environment that promotes diversity, inclusion, and flexibility. What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
