As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll develop and execute test plans for financial applications, collaborate with teams, and ensure product readiness.

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Indice you will be joining a team serving a large banking institution. You will participate in a multidisciplinary team tasked with developing and maintaining financial web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities include
- Work with business analysts, product managers, and developers to understand digital banking requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Develop and execute UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts for digital banking applications
- Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution with development teams
- Conduct regression testing after fixes or system updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain UAT sign-off and ensure readiness for production deployment.
- Provide detailed test reports, including defect trends and recommendations for process improvements.
A 50/50 work from home/office is required for this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field.
- 3+ years in UAT testing, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Familiarity with core banking, online banking, mobile banking, and payment systems.
- Strong understanding of UAT methodologies and best practices.
- Experience testing web applications, mobile banking apps, and API integrations.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
- Understanding of banking compliance standards (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, KYC, AML).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with digital payments (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, real-time payments).
- Understanding of accessibility testing (WCAG compliance).
