Description

Coralogix is a modern, full-stack observability platform transforming how businesses process and understand their data. Our unique architecture powers in-stream analytics without reliance on expensive indexing or hot storage. We specialize in comprehensive monitoring of logs, metrics, trace and security events with features such as APM, RUM, SIEM, Kubernetes monitoring and more, all enhancing operational efficiency and reducing observability spend by up to 70%.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for guiding a team of talented engineers in the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions.

You will play a critical role in project planning, code quality, and team development, ensuring that we meet our technical and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical direction and support throughout the development lifecycle, including architecture, design, and code reviews.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Promote best practices in coding, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Performance Monitoring: Assess team performance and provide constructive feedback to facilitate growth and improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.



Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years focusing on distributed/database systems
  • 2+ years of team leadership experience
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Rust
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts and challenges
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Experience designing and developing database systems, including distributed query processing and optimization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and managing stakeholder relationships

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Apache Arrow and its ecosystem
  • Experience deploying and operating services on Kubernetes
  • Experience with cloud storage systems (e.g. AWS S3)
