Currently we are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer with focus on Erlang to build reliable and concurrent systems that power real-time telecom services in Ericsson's 5G Packet Core Controller component.
What you will do:
• Develop high-quality software solutions meeting telecom standards• Analyze requirements and propose software designs• Analyze verification needs, develop and execute relevant tests• Analyze, troubleshoot and provide resolutions to faults• Work on technical documentation• Continuously work on improving our products and processes• Collaborate and share knowledge in an Agile cross-functional team
The skills you bring:
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Min 2 years of experience in software development with general programming knowledge
  • Some knowledge of any functional language (Erlang, Elixir, Haskell) OR strong eagerness to learn Erlang
  • Analytical thinking and ability to solve algorithmic problems
  • Understanding of IP networking concepts and packet analysis (e.g. Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP)
  • Knowledge of software development tools and Agile methodologies
  • Curious, proactive and collaborative mindset
  • At least B2 level in English, written and spoken

Nice to have:
• Knowledge of 4G/5G mobile network architecture (protocols, functions, etc.)
This role requires working from Poland, Krakow office (3 days per week)
