Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet our business needs. As member of an Agile team, you will collaborate with your colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions and contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, provide solutions in a timely manner
- Collaborate with software engineers, software architects, product managers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience in Software Development
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant field
- Knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript, including experience with modern frameworks and libraries
- Experience in development of microservices using Node.JS and Golang
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (eg. Jest, GoMock)
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Good programming skills with a mindset of solving problems efficiently with creativity
- Ability to learn new technologies/frameworks fast
- Passionate about software/technology, ideally with contribution to open-source projects
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent teamwork abilities
- Fluency in English
Additional Skills (Advantageous):
- Knowledge of VoIP telephony (SIP/CSTA) and WebRTC
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with Linux OS/scripting languages (Bash, Perl)
- Experience with code version control (git)
- Programming skills in Java
