Provide hands-on operational support across site functions including facilities, logistics, transport, vehicle and plant operations. Operate HGVs and specialist equipment, perform inspections and fault finding, support waste processing and site maintenance, maintain housekeeping and HSE compliance, coordinate transport and materials movement, and collaborate with teams to ensure safe, efficient site continuity.
The Site Support Specialist provides flexible, hands-on support across site operations, facilities, logistics, transport, and vehicle activities to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of Enva Northern Ireland's facilities. The role requires a multi-skilled individual capable of supporting a wide range of operational requirements, operating specialist equipment and vehicles, and assisting with the maintenance of site standards, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support across all site functions.
- Support facilities and site maintenance activities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist with logistics and transport operations, including vehicle movements, material handling, and transport coordination.
- Operate a range of fleet vehicles, heavy goods vehicles, plant, and specialist equipment as required.
- Carry out routine inspections and basic fault finding, reporting defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Support waste management, recycling, material processing, and operational activities across the site.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site presentation.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and company procedures.
- Assist in the movement of equipment, materials, and resources across operational areas.
- Respond effectively to operational issues and provide practical solutions to support business continuity.
- Work collaboratively with operational, maintenance, and transport teams to achieve site objectives.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties required to support the business.
