An outstanding chance awaits a hardworking person to become the Site Head of Human Resources.

As Head of Human Resources for the Slough and Cambridge Sites, you will work with the business as a Business Partner to initiate, develop and lead strategies to support the Site and corporate business goals. You will partner with the Head of Site and Site Leadership team members to help develop and implement the people plan, interpreting relevant people insight into actionable improvements. You will do this either personally or managing through the HR team and HR centers of expertise of which you will be responsible for their delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide HR leadership, consultation, and support to the site SLT team, line managers, and employees

  • Translate and implement globally defined HR strategies into locally applicable action plans

  • Build and implement change management strategies to support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives

  • Establish an HR operational plan aligned with site business priorities and ensure its perfect execution

  • Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve employee engagement and site efficiency

  • Drive organization and talent development actions to ensure a robust pipeline of talent that meets both local and global staffing needs

  • Assess HR efficiency by supervising and reporting key measures; take corrective actions as needed

  • Perform other duties as required to support the overall HR function

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, HR, Organizational Development, or Psychology is required; a Master’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred

  • Extensive HR generalist experience, including leadership of HR teams at a senior level, ideally within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries

  • Demonstrated agility in encouraging a culture that embraces errors as a source of innovation

  • Strong business insight, with the ability to translate corporate strategy into critical success factors and build breakthrough implementation plans

  • Established track record of building inclusive relationships and alliances, involving both internal and external customers

  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to maintain effective and balanced customer relations

  • Outstanding skills in getting results through mentorship, anticipating and resolving challenges, and ensuring alignment to business objectives

  • Leadership qualities with high integrity and accountability for team actions and decisions
