Company OverviewOur Senior Technical Project Manager is a high-level professional who bridges the gap between technical expertise and Business or product strategy. They are responsible for ensuring that a product is not only functionally complete but also technically robust, scalable, and secure, while also prioritizing the needs of customers and other stakeholders. This role involves significant technical depth, leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across different teams. 
 Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements to define project scope, cost, and timeline.
  • Act as a subject matter expert ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business goals. Facilitate the meetings and agenda for development projects
  • Oversee software development cycles, setting clear milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Assess development workloads to allocate resources efficiently and set realistic expectations.
  • Ensure technical documentation, code reviews, and adherence to software development best practices.
  • Identify risks and bottlenecks in the development process, proactively addressing them to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical solutions that align with business needs.
  • Work with various stakeholders, including product owners, account managers and clients, to understand needs and incorporate them into the product strategy.
  • Implementing quality control measures to ensure software meets technical standards
  • Monitor project progress, providing status updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Define and prioritize technical stories in the product backlog, balancing business needs with technical constraints and long-term sustainability.
  • Facilitate Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
 Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or Software Development Manager and similar role in software development.
  • Strong understanding of full-stack development, including both frontend and backend technologies.
  • Strong understanding of programming languages, software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and relevant technical architecture
  • Experience in project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
  • Ability to assess development efforts, define realistic timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details into business-friendly language.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks early.
  • Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and code review processes.
  • Previous experience as a senior full stack developer is highly preferred
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, and product managers.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira

Location: Remote

Hours:  Available during standard US business hours (9am-5pm EST, 8:30am-4:30pm EST or 4am-12pm EST)
